Drawing Near to God
James 4:8
"Seeking God’s Presence".
This week we are praying that God will help us get out of His way as we seek His vision for 2025 both for Journey Fellowship and ourselves with a focus on aligning our hearts with God’s will. As we take time to seek His face and His wisdom, we pray that our own shortcomings would not keep us from hearing His voice.
Today we are praying about Drawing Near to God.
Each day as you spend time with the Lord, we encourage you to read over the daily scripture and ask for God's wisdom and clarity for His plans.
Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
James 4:8
Heavenly Father, we praise You for Your goodness and unfailing love. As we seek Your presence and vision for 2025—both for Journey Fellowship and our own lives—we choose to draw near to You. Help us set aside our own plans and distractions so we can hear Your voice clearly and follow Your will.
Align our hearts with Yours, Lord. Cleanse us of anything that pulls us away from You, and fill us with a deep desire to seek You first. We trust that as we draw near to You, You will guide our steps and make our paths straight.
