1 Peter 5:1-4
The theme for our first week of prayer is "Prepare our Hearts".
Today we are praying for the Elders of Journey Fellowship.
Each day as you spend time with the Lord, we encourage you to read over the daily scripture and ask for God's wisdom and clarity for His plans.
To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed: Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.
1 Peter 5:1-4
May the Father continue to prepare the hearts of our Elders to lead with wisdom, grace, and humility. May He strengthen and encourage them as they shepherd His people, filling them with renewed passion for His work. If any are weary, may He refresh their spirit, and if any are seeking direction, may He bring clarity and confidence in their calling. May their hearts be continually stirred and ready to serve, knowing that their leadership is making an eternal impact for His kingdom!
