Week 6 Theme - "Go Where You're Leading"
Focus: "Being the hands and feet of Jesus"
In this final week of the 40 days of prayer, we encourage the body to not only go deeper in prayer, but also be obedient in fasting/abstaining. Jesus was given to us as the bread of life and by fasting we are allowing our body and spirit to be fed by His presence. In that seeking, we're asking God to lead us where we should go both in local and global outreach. We also seek discernment and His vision of where we should serve (poor, widows, orphans, homeless.)
Each day as you spend time with the Lord, we encourage you to read over the daily scripture and ask for God's wisdom and clarity for His plans.
Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:12
Lord, help us to embrace the power of partnership—joining with other churches and believers to make a greater impact in our communities and beyond. Father, break down any barriers of division and fill us with a spirit of unity and love. Teach us to work together, honoring the unique gifts and callings of each member of the body of Christ. May we come alongside one another in prayer, service, and mission, strengthening and encouraging one another as we go where You are leading.
Thank You, Lord, for the privilege of serving together. Use us to build bridges, foster relationships, and work hand in hand with fellow believers for Your glory. May we go forward in faith, united in purpose, declaring Your name in all we do.
