Week 6 Theme - "Go Where You're Leading"
Focus: "Being the hands and feet of Jesus"
In this final week of the 40 days of prayer, we encourage the body to not only go deeper in prayer, but also be obedient in fasting/abstaining. Jesus was given to us as the bread of life and by fasting we are allowing our body and spirit to be fed by His presence. In that seeking, we're asking God to lead us where we should go both in local and global outreach. We also seek discernment and His vision of where we should serve (poor, widows, orphans, homeless.)
Each day as you spend time with the Lord, we encourage you to read over the daily scripture and ask for God's wisdom and clarity for His plans.
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Acts 1:8
Lord, You have called us to go—first to our neighbors, then to our communities, and even to the ends of the earth. As we fast and pray, align our hearts with Yours so that we may boldly share the Gospel with those who are lost and in need of Your saving grace. Open doors for us to serve the poor, the widows, the orphans, and the homeless, not only with acts of kindness but with the truth of Your love. Let our hands serve, our feet go, and our mouths declare the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Thank You, Lord, for the power of the Holy Spirit that equips us to be Your witnesses. May we not shrink back but step forward in faith, knowing that You are leading us. Fill us with courage, compassion, and a deep urgency to proclaim Your name in every place You send us.
Use us, Lord. Let our lives be a living testimony, and may the Gospel shine through us as we go where You are leading.
