Psalm 118:24
Week 6 Theme - "Go Where You're Leading"
Focus: "Being the hands and feet of Jesus"
In this final week of the 40 days of prayer, we encourage the body to not only go deeper in prayer, but also be obedient in fasting/abstaining. Jesus was given to us as the bread of life and by fasting we are allowing our body and spirit to be fed by His presence. In that seeking, we're asking God to lead us where we should go both in local and global outreach. We also seek discernment and His vision of where we should serve (poor, widows, orphans, homeless.)
Each day as you spend time with the Lord, we encourage you to read over the daily scripture and ask for God's wisdom and clarity for His plans.
The Lord has done it this very day;
let us rejoice today and be glad.
Psalm 118:24
Heavenly Father, today we come before You with hearts full of thanksgiving and praise. As we enter this final week of our 40 days of prayer, we thank You for sustaining us, for drawing us closer to You, and for refining our hearts through prayer and fasting.
Lord, we praise You for being the Bread of Life that nourishes our souls. As we set aside worldly comforts, we trust that You will fill us with everything we need. In this seeking, we ask You to lead us—to guide our hands and feet so that we may serve those who are hurting, lost, and in need. Whether in our own communities or across the world, may we be vessels of Your love and mercy.
Thank You for the joy of serving, the blessing of giving, and the opportunity to be an extension of Your grace. May we step forward with faith, knowing that every act of love, every moment of service, and every prayer lifted is a reflection of Your goodness.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
