1 Corinthians 12:7
Week 5 Theme - "See What He Sees"
Focus: "Strengthening our focus on heavenly things"
This week we're asking God to strengthen our church no matter the circumstance, that he would give us a strength of faith, humility in all circumstances, and a spirit of perseverance. We know that if God is for us, who can be against us, and so we pray with that same spirit of victory. We ask that our spiritual gifts would be revealed so we can better serve the church.
Each day as you spend time with the Lord, we encourage you to read over the daily scripture and ask for God's wisdom and clarity for His plans.
Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.
1 Corinthians 12:7
Heavenly Father,
You have given each of us spiritual gifts, not for our own glory, but for the good of Your church and the work of Your kingdom. Open our eyes to see the gifts You have placed within us and show us how to use them to serve others with love and humility. Help us to recognize that every gift—whether seen or unseen—is valuable and necessary for building up the body of Christ. Thank You for calling us to be part of something greater than ourselves and for equipping us to fulfill Your purpose.
We give You all the praise, for You are worthy, and we trust in Your perfect plan. May our hearts remain fixed on heavenly things, rejoicing in Your goodness always.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
