Our Home Lives
Joshua 24:15
"Work Where He's Working".
This week we're asking for His wisdom and discernment in the work we are doing within our church. We ask that God guides us to areas where we can faithfully be His hands and feet, and brings to light how we can be more fruitful in different areas of ministry.
Today we are praying about Our Home Lives.
Each day as you spend time with the Lord, we encourage you to read over the daily scripture and ask for God's wisdom and clarity for His plans.
But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.
Joshua 24:15
This week, we seek Your wisdom and guidance as we labor in Your kingdom. Open our eyes to see where You are already moving within our church, our community, and most importantly, within our homes. Help us to trust fully in Your direction rather than relying on our own understanding. Align our hearts with Yours so that we may step boldly into the places where Your Spirit is at work.
Lord, our homes are the first place of ministry. Help us to build households that honor You—where love, grace, and truth guide our relationships. Strengthen marriages, equip parents to raise their children in faith, and bring peace to every home represented in our church. May our daily lives reflect Your presence, and may we serve You faithfully within the walls of our own homes before we seek to serve elsewhere.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen
