Matthew 5:14-16
"Work Where He's Working".
This week we're asking for His wisdom and discernment in the work we are doing within our church. We ask that God guides us to areas where we can faithfully be His hands and feet, and brings to light how we can be more fruitful in different areas of ministry.
Today we are praying about Community Impact.
Each day as you spend time with the Lord, we encourage you to read over the daily scripture and ask for God's wisdom and clarity for His plans.
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Matthew 5:14-16
This week, we seek Your wisdom and guidance as we labor in Your kingdom. Open our eyes to see where You are already moving within our church and community, and help us to trust fully in Your direction rather than relying on our own understanding. Align our hearts with Yours so that we may step boldly into the places where Your Spirit is at work.
Lord, You have called us to be a light in our community, reflecting Your love through our actions and service. Help us to see the needs around us and respond with compassion and purpose. Show us how to be more effective in reaching those who are hurting, marginalized, and searching for hope. May our church be a beacon that draws people to You, not for our glory, but so that Your name is lifted high. Let us work where You are working, trusting that as we shine Your light through acts of love and service, hearts will be drawn to You and Your kingdom will grow.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen
